To calculate profit or loss on a trade, you multiply the price change of a Futures contract by its tick value and the number of contracts you own. Check the contract specifications on Meta Trade for details.
For example, if you buy one WTI contract at $78.14 and the price rises to $78.21, the profit-per-contract is $0.07. This equals 7 ticks, each worth $10, resulting in a total profit of $70 for one contract. Losses are calculated the same way as gains
